For the duration of the 8 week Programme each delegate will receive the Inovus Medical® pyxus® Pro Move laparoscopic training simulator package. This package includes:

1x 15 inch monitor
1x Table mount for 15 inch monitor
1x Zero lag 1080p dummy laparoscope
1x LED light source
2x Maryland type laparoscopic grasping forceps
2x 5mm trocars for trocar insertion training
1x Inovus trocar insertion training pad - replaceable
1x Flexible bracket for camera fixation

1x needle holder

1x Vaginal vault suturing model

1x Ectopic pregnancy model

8x Vicryl 1-0 sutures

You will have the opportunity to keep the simulator package for the duration of the programme until your last Tutorial, after which you will be expected return it in good condition. Courier delivery will be arranged for the simulator package to be delivered to you and a Courier pick up will also be arranged at the end of the programme.

 

During the programme, you will attend seven online tutorials on Zoom, every week. During each Zoom tutorial you will be taken through a specific exercise, step by step, with live directions on your laparoscopic simulators and after your tutorials you will be expected to submit an unedited video of your best independent attempt at the exercise of the tutorial.

 

All videos will be evaluated and individual feedback will be provided by the tutor of that particular exercise.
