Gateway to Collaborative Acquisition

An important goal of this project is to facilitate a method for local authorities and public bodies from London and beyond to publish and coordinate their commercial vehicle purchases over a five year rolling programme while at the same time allow main buying organisations to plan and synchronise e-Auctions and mini-competitions.  To achieve this, the London Commercial Fleet Project Steering Group approved the acquisition of the cloud based database.  The individual requirements can only be against published known core vehicle specifications to encourage standardisation / aggregation.  Organisations outside London can also take part and add their requirements and which have the benefits of allowing all collaboratively minded bodies to plan and aggregate their requirements: volume and scale are thereby substantially extended.
